Project Sobar Jonno Boi (Books for All) is an annual literacy campaign organized by Aim Initiative Foundation that aims to address the scarcity of reading materials in underprivileged schools across Bangladesh. Since its inception in 2019, the project has focused on collecting and donating books to establish school libraries, providing children from underserved communities with access to a variety of reading materials—such as storybooks, comics, fiction, and non-fiction—to promote creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. The goal of the initiative is to make books and reading materials accessible to every child, fostering literacy and intellectual development while building a reading culture and offering equal learning opportunities in line with SDG 4 (Quality Education). Through the distribution of 1,000 books and a bookshelf to each school, the establishment of community libraries, and the organization of reading workshops and storytelling events, Project Sobar Jonno Boi seeks to improve literacy rates, enhance reading habits, and narrow the educational gap between socioeconomic classes, ultimately nurturing a more informed and empowered generation of students.
