What does my 1,500 BDT monthly donation cover?

Your monthly donation of 1,500 BDT directly contributes to providing quality education and various essential services for the child. It covers expenses such as educational accessories, teacher salaries, school rent, school uniforms, school bags, skill development necessities, digital classroom resources, library facilities, healthcare services, nutritious food, and more. Your contribution helps ensure the child receives a well-rounded education and the necessary support for their overall well-being.

    Sustainable Development

At Aim Initiative Foundation, we see development as a lasting journey—community-driven, child-focused, and sustainable. Your sponsorship doesn’t just support a child; it strengthens entire communities by breaking the cycle of poverty.

Through your contribution, children receive education, skill development, healthcare, nutrition, and life skills giving them the tools to grow, thrive, and build a better future. Together, we’re creating real, lasting change—one child, one community at a time.

Can I sponsor a specific child?

Yes! You can select a child to sponsor based on various factors such as age, location, and needs. You will receive updates and communication directly related to that child.

How long will my sponsorship last?

Your sponsorship continues as long as you wish to be involved, with a minimum commitment of one year. After the first year, you can choose to renew or discontinue the sponsorship.

How will I know how my donation is being used?

We provide regular updates on the child's progress, including reports on their health, education, and general well-being. You will also receive quarterly newsletters, and pictures and can even receive occasional letters from the child you are sponsoring.

What happens if I can’t continue my monthly donation?

We understand that circumstances can change. If you’re unable to continue your sponsorship, please notify us, and we can pause or cancel your donations. We encourage notifying us at least 60 days in advance.

Can I sponsor more than one child?

Absolutely! You can choose to sponsor as many children as you’d like, and we would be happy to assist in managing those sponsorships.

    Other Contribution

One student’s monthly educational expense is BDT 1,635. We have kept our Sponsor a Child Program Fund as BDT 1,500 (as round figure) per student. It leaves BDT 135 remaining. We receive an additional BDT 135 per student through various CSR activities and one-off/in-kind donations from individuals and institutions who support Aim Initiative Foundation’s mission and vision.

What happens if the child I’m sponsoring is no longer in the program?

If the child graduates or leaves the program, you will be informed and offered the opportunity to sponsor another child in need. We strive to ensure continuity of support for the community while also meeting the individual needs of our donors.

    Challenges

With the increasing number of students each year, one of our biggest challenges remains school expansion and ongoing maintenance. Adding to that, a significant portion of our students are currently unsponsored, which presents difficulties in providing all the required and committed educational, skill development, and other essential facilities in their best forms to ensure the holistic development of all students in the long run.
